Polymer Clay Workshop 

Make your own statement earrings or pendant using polymer clay

Discover the entire process of making your own polymer jewelry from start to finish and start wearing your creative ideas !

Tools and materials 

polymer clay, an acrylic roller, a tissue knife, a tile (or glass or acrylic surface), toothpick, an oven, parchment paper, aluminum foil, jump rings, earring findings

(optional) a pasta machine, a hand drill, sandpaper, a nail file, liquid clay

How to blend and mix your colors and see how to condition the clay

Decorative techniques

Beginner

·        Terrazzo

·        Texture sheets to create embossed pattern

·        Small cutters to create slab design (with Gold foil)

·        Marble effects (using scrap clays)

 

Advanced

·        Floral design (2D)

·        3D

 

Customized

·        Students can select the design and type of jewelry they want to make

 

Learn how to finish, assemble and turn your clay pieces into wearable art (earrings, pendant, charm)

Baking -> sanding -> add jump rings, backing or earring findings
